Q1. Do you offer FREE collection and how does it work?
Yes we offer FREE collection. When you call or email us to book a repair, we send you out an "Emergency Repair Mail In Pack", which you should receive next day. The Emergency Repair Mail In Pack includes a secure packaging to send your laptop to us. You will package your laptop inside this pack and contact us to arrange collection. We will collect your laptop and once the laptop is repaired, we will return the laptop back to you. Please note that we charge £9 to send out the Emergency Repair Mail In Pack. However, this is refunded once we receive your laptop.
Q2. Do I need to pay for a consultation or diagnosis?
No. You do not need to pay for a diagnosis or consultation.
Q3. Do I have to pay anything in advance?
No. We take a deposit for the Emergency Repair Mail In Pack, which amounts to £9. However, this is refunded when we receive your laptop.

No. We do not do offers promotions or any gimmicks. We have simple fixed price charge. We believe in getting paid for an honest days work. Companies that have gimmicky promotions always have a small print. We are not that type of business.
Q5. Do you do offer a No Fix No Fee?
No we don't. We see it as a pure gimmick. Everything is fixable. The question is "does it always make financial sense to repair it?" So these companies who do a "No Fix No Fee" can always claim it's repairable. They will often ask you do an expensive repair even when it doesn't make financial sense , so that they can get their fee paid. We are no nonsense company. We believe in getting paid for our time. It keeps things simple and honest.
Q6. Do you give warranty?
We give you 90 days warranty on most of our weork. Most parts come with one year's manufacturer's warranty. The reality is that if something was to go wrong you would nearly always notice it within a day or two of getting it back.

Q17. Can you do remote access work?
Yes. We can access your PC or Laptop remotely to fix software related issues.
Q18. Do you do home visits?
Only in selected areas and based on availability. Please contact us for a quote. Home visits are nearly always more expensive then dropping the laptop to us or having us collect the laptop.
Q19. Do you charge fixed price or by the hour?
We charge a fixed price on all laptop jobs for all residential customers.
Q20. Will you buy my old laptop?
The short answer is no. The reason is that as far as we are concerned it is a conflict of interest. The way we look at it a laptop repair company can exaggerate an issue just to buy a laptop and selling it on. Most laptop repair companies will buy your laptop. You will often get a very bad price for it. We can suggest better ways to sell your laptop. We just don't buy our customers laptops.
Q21. I got a cheaper quote elsewhere will you match it?
No. We do not just compete on price. We offer a great service and good value. When businesses comprise their price something always gives. Our pricing is what we call middle of the ground and we can provide evidence to that effect.
Q22. Are you open weekends?
Yes. However, collection and delivery is only done on weekdays.
Q23. Is there a delivery charge?
Delivery is FREE. If you decide not to proceed with the work following our diagnosis, then there is a £25 charge to cover the cost of collection and delivery.
Q24. How are you able to provide a quote over the phone without looking at my computer?
The quote we provide over the phone is an accurate estimate. Because we do this every day, our estimates are very accurate.
Q25. How long does a typical laptop repair take?
A typical repair can take between 3 working days. If you are in a hurry then ask about our express service for faster turnaround times.
Q26. Are you able to pick up laptops in the evening and weekends?
Currently collections and deliveries are not available during weekends.
